Staffty ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Mayo AI Inc. ("Company"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Staffty mobile application (the "App").
Staffty is a workforce management and training app provided to restaurant businesses ("Restaurant Partners") for use by their employees. If you are using Staffty, it is most likely because your employer has enrolled your workplace in the App.
Name, photo, email address, phone number, role/position, and employer (restaurant) association.
Shift schedules, attendance records, check-in/check-out timestamps, leave and time-off requests, and approximate location at the moment of check-in (used solely to confirm you are at your workplace).
Completed tasks, quests, points/XP, streaks, and other in-app progress data used for the App's training and motivation features.
If you use the in-app "Ask Staffty" assistant, your questions and the assistant's responses may be logged to improve answer accuracy and to help your employer understand common staff questions.
Device type, operating system, app version, and basic usage analytics (e.g., crash logs, feature usage) used to maintain and improve the App.
We use the information above to: operate core App features (scheduling, attendance, leave management, training); verify shift check-ins; personalize quests and training content; respond to support requests; maintain security and prevent misuse; and improve the App over time.
We do not use your information to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
Staffty requests location access only to confirm that a shift check-in is taking place at your workplace. Location is checked at the moment of check-in/check-out and is not used for continuous or background tracking.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and your employer maintains a subscription to Staffty, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your account data as described in Section 7 below, subject to your employer's record-keeping obligations.
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below or speak with your employer's administrator, who manages your account within the App.
Staffty is intended for use by employed adults of legal working age and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the minimum legal working age in the applicable jurisdiction.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate infrastructure. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
